I'm sticking this under resources, as it is quite important lately. While those in the US might not understand what Hezbollah stands for, here in Europe and in the middle east Hezbollah is seen as the only thing stopping Israel from completely destroying Lebanon. People will say "Well Hezbollah started it all". Thats a load of crap, Hezbollah was formed to get rid of Israeli occupation of Lebanon the first time, 20 years ago. Despite being a Shia organisation, it has huge backing from sunnis and christians, and many people of many different backgrounds are now flying their flag as a show of unity behind it.

Again, people in the US probably wouldn't understand. As the Lebanese government stands idle hoping Israel will stop, Hezbollah is the one fighting for their country.

Hizbullah and Hamas are not "freedom fighters." They are slaves of Ahmadinejad and the "Ayatollah." They hide behind Palestinian and Lebanese children while shooting and bombing Israeli Children. They get support from the "Islamic Republic" AKA Oppressive Hellhole of Iran.

I support Hezbollah full on as well as Hamas, not Al Qaueda though, Hezbollah and Hamas are simply defending their homelands, now have they made some mistakes? yeah, but so has the U.S. and N.A.T.O., I am a muslim, and I support both :)

Hezbollah is a political party, and is allied with the (Christian) Free Patriotic Movement, considering that the Lebanese Government did nothing to protect the Lebanese people, it seems sensible that those two parties demand an election to replace it with one that will actually help Lebanese people.

You got it wrong, Israel crossed into Lebanon, not the other way round. This happens regularly, like the 2003 incident when the Israeli Army went into Lebanon with bulldozers and clashed with the Lebanese Army - At least back then they bothered to fight invaders, the "Hezbollah-Israeli" war the Lebanese Government and army sat and just let Lebanese people die from random bombings by Israel. 1,200+ Lebanese civilians dead, over a million homeless, property damage included power plants, destroying local businesses, destruction of factories, bombing campaigns of schools and hospitals and residential areas, littering them with cluster bombs.

I want a pro-Western Government in Lebanon, but they need to protect their people from such slaughters, you don't understand the situation at all.

Hezbollah has a right to hold arms for as long as Israeli Invasion is a possibility, because the Lebanese Army isn't prepared to do anything.
